3-Day Fundraising 2019
Seattle & San Diego
What's This All About?
In September 2018, I walked 60-miles in my very first Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day. This year, I’m doing it TWICE! From September 13 - 15, 2019, I will be walking in Seattle, WA and from November 15 - 17, 2019, I will be walking in San Diego, CA.
If you don’t already know, it’s a three-day, 60-mile walk that’s making a real difference in the fight against breast cancer! You can find more information about this amazing event on the 3-Day website.
I'm On A Mission!
From now until July 31, 2019, I will be donating 15% from all of my design projects and Brand Shop sales toward my fundraising goals of $4,600!! So not only will my clients get the amazing designs and templates that they need, but they will be helping a fantastic cause in the process! Combine that with the amazing support of family & friends and I'm beyond delighted with the impact we're going to be able to make together!
3-Days. 60 Miles. Let's Do This!
You can support me as I take on this incredible challenge yet again to make an impact in the fight to end breast cancer. The 3-Day isn’t just a 60-mile walk over the course of three days — it’s a journey to the end of breast cancer!
I will walk because I can! I will walk because I am more than pink! I will walk for the women I know who have fought this battle. I will walk for Debbie, Christine, Donna, Julia, and Megan. I dream of a future in which no mother, father, sister, brother, daughter, son, or other loved one has to battle cancer.
To be able to participate in both 3-Day events, I must raise $2,300 for each one! Every dollar matters, so if you're inspired to support my mission, you can make a donation directly to my goal by using my fundraising page on the 3-Day site!
Last Year’s 3-Day: 2018
In September of 2018, I had the honor of participating in my very first 3-Day as a walker! I walked over 60 miles in 3 days and raised $6,460 for Susan G. Komen. I met hundreds of amazing people and made many new friends! We laughed, we cried, and I became inspired beyond belief — all in the course of only 3 days!
Here are a handful of photos from my Seattle 3-Day experience last year:
My First 3-Day: 2017
In September of 2017, I participated in my first ever 3-Day as a volunteer on the food crew! I worked tirelessly alongside my mom, who was participating in her 16th 3-Day event! We woke up at 4 am to make sure that all of the walkers had breakfast before heading out of camp on their route for the day! We helped direct traffic, we cheered at the finish line, we did whatever was needed of us to make a difference that weekend!
